Resurrection Life is an independent charismatic church located in Grandville, Michigan. In 2004, this 10,000-plus member ministry began a 4,000 seat expansion of its facilities. When they began to expand the scope of the renovations, Scecon was brought on as part of a much larger team
Each team focused on a specialized area of the building. The role we played included the main stage and sets, which we designed, constructed, and installed. We worked closely with the team and Resurrection Life in creating a dynamic and customizable stage that met the demands of their evolving worship styles and growing video and audio needs.
The stage was outfitted with a metal back wall and decorative screens, as well as perforated, interior-lit columns. The stage also featured on-platform monitor stands and removable riser sections for the choir and musicians. Additionally, we designed and crafted a unique podium specifically designed for the current needs of the ministry.
Above the stage, we constructed a massive gondola grid of truss and mesh. This gondola supports three 9' x 16' rear projection screens as well as lighting units. Scecon also produced the surrounds for the gondola's video screens.
