The International Mission Board (IMB) is a missionary agency affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC), the largest Baptist group in the world. This year's SBC Annual Meeting was held June 12-13 in San Antonia, TX. Over 7000 people attended the event. The exhibit was well received by all in attendance and spoken highly of by IMB.

IMB came to Scecon looking to take their visibility at the annual Southern Baptist Convention Meeting to the next level. They were looking for a strong, uniform design that would make a lasting impression on the several thousands of people that attend the yearly meeting.

The design of the exhibit focused around creating a strong, simple unifying look. We had a large space to work with, a 40' x 60' area! IMB was also fortunate to be placed at a major entrance to the event. Working with this in mind, we created a floor plan for the exhibit that would capture attendees' attention from the moment they entered the building and drew them into the exhibit.

At the center of the exhibit stood a 23 foot tower displaying some of the powerful imagery of people IMB has interacted with in their mission. The tower, along with many of the walls surrounding it tied in with the 2007 Lottie Moon poster, which Scecon helped design. All of the elements of the exhibit spoke to the global reach of IMB, while focusing in on the specific regions of Central Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and the Former Soviet Union.
