The 2007 AUSA Annual Meeting & Exposition, the world's largest landpower forum, brings together Active, Guard and Reserve, retirees, family members and civilians to experience the best of today's Army. The U.S. Army Exhibit was the centerpiece of this year's meeting, held October 8-10 at the Washington Convention Center.[1] The largest presence at the show, The U.S. Army Exhibit had a massive 110' x 60' footprint. Scecon worked closely with SyColeman and Belmont, Inc. in bringing together hundreds of workers and thousands of elements to make this one of the best showings to date. The exhibit, which this year featured a strong emphasis on the family aspect of the Army, was heavily trafficked and well-received by all. Scecon provided the overall design of the exhibit, which included all the physical elements, as well as carpeting, lighting, and electronics. Additionally, these elements were crafted in our workshop and installed by our own team. The exhibit had several key features worth noting, including Warrior's Corner, the theater, mural, other theater, and two computer stations each sporting two 30" Apple computers. Scecon has also worked with the U.S. Army to produce its' 2004, 2005, and 2006 AUSA exhibits. We have put together a time-lapse video of the installation process for this exhibit. The video compresses over 2 days over work into just over a minute. Watch the video! |
