We have been experiencing a flood of growth here at Scecon. In the last 6 months we have added 3 new people to our team and seen renovations both inside and out.
The print shop has received some long desired upgrades that have greatly improved workflow and productivity. Just outside, a new kitchen was built that gives everyone a place to gather for lunch. Four new offices have been built in the shop, and the shipping and receiving area has been given a much needed facelift. At the same time, some shuffling was also done in the shop, freeing up more production space.
We would like to take a moment to welcome three new people to the team. Tim King, a multifaceted designer, comes to us from the University of Cincinnati. Ashley Tavenner, a Hampton Roads local, joins us as the new Project Manager. Last but not least, Elizabeth Bartelmes, an administrative design intern working closely with Amber Marcum, will be with us through the summer.
