AfterGlow Technologies is a wholly-owned subsidiary of DHi. AfterGlow showcased its PL expertise at BuildingsNY, held annually in the Jacob Javits Center. BuildingsNY is the largest regional expo dedicated to the commercial and residential building markets.
AfterGlow Technologies asked Scecon to design an exhibit that would position them as an established company that has the technical expertise to gain the client’s trust and, ultimately, their business.
Featured here are the two information towers that we designed to communicate in highly visual and interactive formats. These towers are illuminated via a light-ring overhead, but they could also be made with backlit translucent materials.
A kiosk with touch-screen monitor was used to draw visitors into the exhibit as well as inform them of the products and services offered in the event that no company representative was available at the time.
The backdrop was a recreation of a typical New York building’s doors, steps, fire exits, and hallways that displayed where and how the Afterglow strips would be applied and how the presence of these glowing strips provides the needed safety to tenants exiting the building during a fire or blackout.
