Background

Presented annually in Norfolk, Virginia, the Virginia International Tattoo is an exhibition of marching bands, massed pipes and drums, drill teams, gymnasts, Scottish dancers, choirs and more. Each year, a cast of over 800 artists from several countries creates an unforgettable spectacle under one roof for four breathtaking performances.^[1]

The Design

Scecon designed and produced the graphical elements for this show. These elements were hung around the perimeter of the interior of the event space and were used to display imagery relating to the themes of the music being played. These images were projects onto the screens and changed over time. Scecon also aided with the stage and lighting design for this show.
