Our Story Who We Are | What We Do | How We Do It | What We Know & How We Can Help
Who We AreScecon uses the latest digital technologies and software for CAD design in 3D renderings. We have a 30,000 square foot facility in Portsmouth, Virginia that houses our administrative and design offices, fabrication, paint and finishing departments, and warehouse for set and exhibit storage. We also have a second location in the D.C. area. At a recent conference, Scecon's reaffirmed our team's core beliefs:
What We DoHere at Scecon, we have nearly two decades of experience serving and designing for companies large and small in a variety of environments. Our services range from broadcast design to event management. We have worked on large projects that included designing and fabricating entire broadcast sets. We have worked on galas, expos, events, trade shows, and television productions. We provide consultations, fabrication, facility design, installation, and even stage production. We pride ourselves on being able to find a unique solution for your needs.
How We Do ItWe first seek to understand our client's needs. Our consultant team interviews and assesses each client relating to the following process, which is performed in three basic steps:
In the first step of our process, the Assessment Phase, we gather information from leadership and others connected with the project. We seek to learn about your company's culture, business philosophy, facilities, and most importantly, your immediate needs. From this initial meeting, (which includes a site survey if we are redesigning an existing facility); we will propose recommendations on how we can best serve your organization. This proposal will include fee information for the Concept / Design phase. In the second step, Concept / Design, we meet with you as a team. In these meetings we work together to develop a design that is aesthetically pleasing, looks good on camera, and is fully functional for your specific goals. We work closely with some of the best lighting and acoustical engineers in the country. We understand the many nuances of their respective fields and are prepared to offer the highest quality available. From the final designs we are able to estimate costs for fabrication and installation (the final Production Phase). These are then presented to you for review and to work through any remaining details before proceeding with final production.
