Production and fabrication is the largest part of what we do here at Scecon. Without these hard working folks, none of the crazy ideas we come up with in the design shop would ever become realities. We have a 30,000 square foot facility that houses our fabrication floor, paint and finishing departments, and warehouse for set and exhibit storage, in addition to the administrative and design offices.
Need a podium for your auditorium? How about a television set for a local broadcast? Is your building in need of a visual face lift? Maybe you have a traveling exhibit that needs to be light and simple to transport, easy to setup and takedown, all on a tight deadline? These are some of the challenges that we look forward to, and need to be ready for, each and every day.
Quality doesn't happen by chance, but by design. We will deliver only the highest quality of goods and services. We are constantly on the lookout for new technologies and lighter, stronger, and more versatile materials. While we may not be able to handle every aspect of your project ourselves, we work closely with some of the best lighting and acoustical engineers in the country. We understand the many nuances of their respective fields and are prepared to offer the highest quality available. We pride ourselves on being able to find a unique solution for your needs.
Our paint and finishes department is second to none. We can reproduce nearly any color or texture on a wide assortment of materials and in nearly any shape at any size. Each job is painstakingly and artistically completed with a level of care that you would be hard-pressed to find elsewhere. We take this phase of each project seriously. If you are ever in the area, you're invited to come take a tour and see some samples of our work in person. Just be careful not to wear your best shoes!
Sometimes a job can be pretty big, or maybe someone just had to have all those fancy, complicated looking things as part of the exhibit, only to realize later that they are in fact, complicated. Never fear! Our team is trained not only to ensure everything fits together like it is supposed to, but they are also more than happy to provide training, or come to your site and install everything, letting you sit back and relax.
Some people have all the time in the world. The rest of us have schedules, usually packed full of all sorts of things, some of them we aren't even sure what they are. One of the things we are proudest about here is the speed in which we can accomplish a job. We will fit things to your schedule, not make you adjust to ours. We often work nights or weekends to complete things in as unobtrusive manner as possible. We're not saying we rush through a job and skip town before it falls over. We stick around and make sure everything is how it should be, both at the time of completion and down the road.
